Privacy policy
Effective September 13, 2026. This policy describes what information MARR Partners collects through marrpartners.com and its client portal, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
MARR Partners ("MARR," "we") is a medical and dental accounts receivable recovery firm based in Gahanna, Ohio. Contact: audit@marrpartners.com, 1-(844)-352-MARR (6277).
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us through forms: name, work email, phone, practice or company name, specialty, provider count, estimated receivables, insurance type, claim type, amount range, and any summary you type. Forms ask you not to include patient or medical details.
- Account information if you create a portal account: email address, sign-in method, and sign-in activity.
- Documents you upload through a secure link after a Business Associate Agreement (practices) or a signed authorization (patients). These may contain protected health information and are handled as described in section 5.
- Technical information: server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) used for security and abuse prevention.
- Advertising measurement: the public marketing pages load the Google Ads tag, which sets cookies to measure advertising performance and may be used for remarketing. It is not loaded in the client portal, the admin area, or on secure upload pages, and it never receives form contents or documents.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your request, prepare an audit, quote, or agreement, and provide the services.
- To sign you in to the portal and show you your own reports or case status.
- To secure the site and services and to comply with law.
- To measure advertising on the marketing pages, as described above.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use patient information for marketing.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that host or process it on our behalf (Google Cloud and Firebase for hosting, database, storage, and sign-in; Google Ads for advertising measurement on marketing pages), with payers and plans as necessary to perform the services you have engaged us for, and when required by law. Service providers that may handle protected health information are covered by a Business Associate Agreement.
5. Protected health information
When we work for a practice we act as a HIPAA business associate under a Business Associate Agreement, and the practice's notice of privacy practices governs its patients' information. When we act for a patient under a signed authorization, we use their information only for the claims they name. In both cases documents are transferred over encrypted, single-use links, stored encrypted, accessed on a minimum-necessary basis by named users with multi-factor authentication, and deleted or returned when the matter closes (audit files for practices that do not engage us are deleted within 90 days). See Security and compliance.
6. Cookies and choices
The marketing pages use Google Ads cookies for measurement; you can block them in your browser or opt out of Google's ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. The portal uses only the cookies and storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no standard for them, but the choices above work regardless.
7. Retention
Form submissions and case records are kept for three years after the last activity, or longer where a contract or law requires. Audit logs are kept for six years. Uploaded documents follow section 5.
8. Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw an authorization you gave us, by emailing audit@marrpartners.com. Requests about protected health information held for a practice are referred to that practice, as HIPAA requires.
9. Children
The site and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 except as part of a claim a parent or guardian brings to us.
10. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how we use information you already gave us will be sent to the email address on file.
