What we look at

  • Balance and claim count by aging bucket, and how much of each bucket is still actionable
  • Denial categories with the recovery path and deadline for each
  • Claims within 30 days of a timely-filing or appeal limit
  • Underpayments against contracted rates, where fee schedules are provided
  • Claims with no follow-up activity on file
  • Payer concentration and which payers are driving the aged balance
  • An estimated recovery range and the fee it implies
  • Anything that should be adjusted off, with the reason

What happens after you submit

  1. Within one business day you receive a Business Associate Agreement by email. Nothing containing patient data is exchanged before it is signed.
  2. Once the BAA is executed you receive a single-use, encrypted upload link that expires in 72 hours. Upload the aging report there.
  3. We review the report offline. Five business days later you receive a link to your Recovery opportunity report in the client portal. It contains aggregate figures only, never claim-level data.
  4. If you want us to work the claims, we send an agreement at the contingency rate quoted in the report. If not, the uploaded file is deleted within 90 days.
